Los trabajos y tácticas de los artistas seleccionados para el 28 Concurso de Arte Eduardo León Jimenes, permiten, desde los lenguajes del arte y en el contexto dominicano, abordar distintas problemáticas actuales. En este tenor, algunos artistas exploran los lazos del cuerpo con el espacio psicosocial y las formas en que ocupa el paisaje así como la configuración y maleabilidad de la memoria y las ataduras de lo nemónico a los sitios que se habitan y transitan.

Les œuvres et les tactiques des artistes sélectionnés pour le 28e concours d’art Eduardo León Jimenes permettent, à partir des langages de l’art et dans le contexte dominicain, d’aborder différentes questions d’actualité. En ce sens, certains artistes explorent les liens entre le corps et l’espace psychosocial et les modalités d’occupation du paysage, ainsi que la configuration et la malléabilité de la mémoire et les liens du némonique avec les lieux habités et transités.

The works and tactics of the artists selected for the 28th Eduardo León Jimenes Art Competition allow, from the languages of art and in the Dominican context, to address different current issues. In this sense, some artists explore the links between the body and psychosocial space and the ways in which it occupies the landscape, as well as the configuration and malleability of memory and the ties of the nemonic to the places that are inhabited and transited.
