The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas

The NAGB Permanent Exhibition serves as an opportunity for us to highlight works from the National Collection in conversation with works from private collections. These exhibitions usually take on a physical life within the walls of the NAGB, and are up for display for approximately 12 months on the ground floor of the museum, giving you, the public, a chance to see the works that we all own as people of The Bahamas and our cultural patrimony.

For the upcoming iteration of the PE, “Medicine and Memory: Public Health in The Bahamas”, we have included an online show to accompany the on-site exhibition that will open later in the year. Artists for our online exhibition include: Margot Bethel, Jacob Frank Coonley, Tyrone Ferguson, Tamika Galanis, Peggy Hering, Leanne Russell, Netica “Nettie” Symonette and Maxwell Taylor.
