An exhibition, curated by local artists, was opened this morning in the foyer of the Division of Culture, at Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael. It will be on show until June 25, and will be shipped, later this month, for viewing in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.
Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility for Culture, John King, who opened the visual art exhibition, entitled Reflections on Emancipation & Post-Colonial Society, said he was looking forward to being in St. Croix to view the exhibition, which has a number of pieces from various Barbadian artists.

Une exposition, organisée par des artistes locaux, a été inaugurée ce matin dans le foyer de la Division de la culture, au Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, à St Michael. Elle sera présentée jusqu’au 25 juin et sera expédiée, plus tard dans le mois, pour être vue à Sainte-Croix, dans les îles Vierges américaines.
Le ministre du cabinet du Premier ministre chargé de la culture, John King, qui a inauguré l’exposition d’art visuel intitulée Reflections on Emancipation & Post-Colonial Society, a déclaré qu’il était impatient d’être à Sainte-Croix pour voir l’exposition, qui comprend un certain nombre d’œuvres de divers artistes barbadiens.
