✍️ ¨Carlos Enríquez est un artiste difficile à définir pour ses multiples contributions à la plastique cubaine. Cependant, il est évident qu’il existe trois lignes de travail qui ont été de leur attention particulière : le créole, à partir d’une exploration profonde et sincère sur les joies et les tristesses du Guajiro cubain et les mythes qui entourent sa vie ; une deuxième orientation, de Engagement social, profondément puissant et émouvant, et un troisième biais, tout aussi intense, correspondant à son œuvre érotique, qu’il a exploré dans toutes ses variantes, du grotesque, en extrême provocateur, aux subtilités et aux ambiguïtés de l’amour sexuel.
