“Floating Rib” is a look at the experience and practice of Black women of The Bahamas working in the diaspora, exploring roots, bodies and belonging, homecomings and goings.
This is an all-woman project that features the work of Margot Bethel, April Bey, Kendra Frorup, Tamika Galanis, Anina Major, Jodi Minnis, Khia Poitier, Tiffany Smith, and Averia Wright. The show has been curated with much love and care by the NAGB Associate Curator, Natalie Willis.

Ce projet entièrement composé de femmes présente les œuvres de Margot Bethel, April Bey, Kendra Frorup, Tamika Galanis, Anina Major, Jodi Minnis, Khia Poitier, Tiffany Smith et Averia Wright.
